Description
Located in Bight State park Alaska is a history and information center about the Native Americans who have lived for centuries in and around the area of what is now the town of Ketchikan. Some of the members of these tribes (Tlingit, Tsimshian, and Haida) still fashion totem poles in the manner of their ancestors. Totem Poles generally depict legends, history and clan identification. Frogs and Ravens are sacred symbols.
