Upper Whitewater Falls is part of the chain of six waterfalls making up Whitewater Falls. It is on the border of North Carolina and South Carolina. Whitewater Falls is the highest series of falls in the Eastern United States, with a total drop of 811 feet. The Upper falls has a drop of 411 feet. This rugged country has never been developed and affords a wonderful nature visit, with an overlook available for viewing the gorgeous countryside. Photograph processed as a painting.
