Description
Veterans Day was the inspiration for this piece. I wanted to do a piece that showed that America is behind our troops. This piece took over 22 hrs, using a range of pencils H6-3B and a Nero #3 charcoal pencil. You can donate directly to http://www.woundedwarriorproject.org/

Thank you so greatly from the buyer from Gambier, OH. for your purchase of the greeting cards. Wounded Warriors is a great charity to support, sadly the full payment on FAA won't be donated to them, but be assured I will be sure to send my commission to them.

Beautifully done- I was glad to see you included the 22 hours it took to complete. As a fellow artist, ppl can’t believe the time that goes in to doing a piece of completed art work. Congrats, you managed to envoke a feeling surmountable to life in the service.
Peter Piatt replied:
Thank you Judy for your comment, oh so true about the time spent. I'm using colored pencils these days and they take 3x as much time on some drawings. The candy jars I had to restart 3 times and took around 130 hrs to get it done right.

Great work capturing the emotion. Also like how you have done the background shape. Hope you get some more sales.
