Dried hydrangeas spill over an antique vase, accenting the items in front of them. The bird's nest speaks of sweet life in the garden, with the old rusted iron bird recalling the original nest dwellers. Vintage clay marbles peek out of the nest and nostalgia is called forth by the different colors. A peaceful still life!

When I became ill with a chronic illness that limited other areas of my life, God opened my eyes to the joy of seeing the details of the surrounding world, and photography was the language I used to share that beauty. Functioning physically at a higher level now, I have widened my expression to include other forms of art media and I love to explore the results. Seeing the beauty and humor in so many things and letting color be the overarching connection makes art a satisfying and joyful opportunity to share with others.
