Revived from an original photograph, this image shows a crumbling old grist mill off of Hwy. 391 in Lexington County, South Carolina as it looked in the 1970's. It no longer stands and there is nothing in the area now to give evidence that it was ever there. Chinquapin Creek forms the border between Aiken and Lexington counties and eventually flows in to the North Edisto River.
