Description

Up in the northwest corner of South Carolina is where the Blue Ridge mountains dip into the state and old farm buildings dot the landscape of the twisting roads. Most are humble in origin and are still waiting to be used again. Times move on, fortunes rise and fall, and the old structures often wait in vain. But the memories they stir remind us that at some point they served a purpose, but the purpose just lingers in the shape of the structure. And they are lonesome.
