Not your grandma's still life! At a recent visit to a landfill to drop of old cans of paint, I noticed these old heavy equipment tires and fell in love with the tread textures and designs. How could I as an artist not take a photograph? In the post processing I brought out the lines and designs with color, showing the personality of each one. You didn't know tires had personality? Just look at these and they will make you a believer! Taken in Greenville Co., South Carolina.
